Sparse but intricately arranged pop that is as lush as it is threadbare makes what is played just as important as what isn’t.

Me, Like Many

Bio: Tom’s first EP “In The Moment”, was recorded and released in late 2014, and is an acoustic presentation of original songs on guitar and piano. The album received the 2015 Alternative Album of the Year Award by the International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA), and the song “Dream Girl” from that album was also nominated for Alternative Song of the Year. Tom is currently recording his second album with legendary music producer and recording engineer Vic Steffens at Horizon Music Group in West Haven, CT. Tom performed for the first time in public at Eddie Owen Presents at The Red Clay Music Foundry located in Duluth, GA, in 2012. In 2013, Tom was invited to audition at SESAC, and was encouraged to join, it was there he decided to perform, write and publish under the name Me, Like Many, and has been a member ever since. Me, Like Many has received wonderful reviews and has been asked to perform at many locations and festivals. Millennium Music Conference, Singer-Songwriter Cape May and Elm City Music Festival are all festivals where he has been asked to return to perform. In 2016, Tom (Me, Like Many), was chosen to perform at the South Street Festival in Philadelphia. Geoffrey Matesky

6:30 PM18:30

Geoffrey Matesky

I'm Geoff Matesky and I am a solo singer/guitarist and producer based on the Connecticut shoreline, with proximity to Southern New England and the New York Tri-State area. I play an eclectic mix of classic acoustic, alternative and modern rock at clubs and bars as well as weddings, indoor and outdoor events, including benefits and private parties.

I've been a professional entertainer for over 30 years. I am a graduate of the Hartt School of Music (1990) with a degree in jazz guitar and electronic music and studio production. I’ve been performing professionally as a solo guitarist and vocalist since the mid ‘80s, working all sizes of rooms; from bars and pubs to several thousand seat auditoriums. My formal education in music has given me the tools and the knowledge to adapt to a wide variety of performing situations on-the-fly; knowing what to play and when has always been my specialty. And if I don’t currently have it in my playlist, I can usually add it in no time at all.

The Music. Variety is the key. My mission is to give the people what they want, while paying homage to some of the greatest songs and artists of our time. From Van Morrison, to Sublime, to James Taylor, to Hoagie Carmichael - Something for everyone. Click on any of the links under Demo Music or visit my Demo Music Page for a sampling of my sound and artistic scope, or you can access my demo tracks directly on SoundCloud.com. You can get a complete listing of my repertoire on my song list page.

The Art of the "Cover". Herein lies the challenge, and one that I’m continually learning from each and every time I perform, no matter how small or large the venue: What kills in one room may fall flat in another and knowing what works, when and where is an art I am constantly striving to master. I invite you to check out my demo music and song list and please leave me feedback on my contact page. Whether yours is a one-time event, or a longer running engagement -- if you feel it could be a fit, I look forward to working with you to design the perfect set list for the perfect occasion.
